ISU Heads to St. Louis for Four Pre-Season Contests

Pack up the bus and head south. ISU Hockey will move to East Alton, IL for four pre-season contests involving the Twin Bridges College Prep program and the Illinois Frontenacs of the newly formed Great Lakes Junior Hockey League.
The Illinois State squad of 49 players will be split into two groups each day Friday and Saturday as a continuing part of their try-out process. Games will be played against the Illinois Frontenacs on Friday at 9:30 PM and Saturday at 5:30PM. Contests vs. Twin Bridges will occur on Friday at 7:00 PM and Saturday at 3:00 PM.
This is the third year of partnership between ISU and Twin Bridges as each team assists the other in building their programs and readying to compete in their respective leagues. The Illinois Frontenacs join the process this year, providing an opportunity for two levels of play in ISU's pre-season games.
ISU features Twin Bridges recruit Daniel Shinn who will go up against his former teammates Friday night and take on the Illinois Frontenacs on Saturday.
ISU players should attend to the travel itinerary below. If a Friday afternoon class is missed, please inform your instructor ahead of time (Wednesday) and send an e-mail to Coach Corley listing the class name, the days and time of the course, the instructor's name, the instructor's e-mail address. Coach will confirm the need to miss with the instructor and players will make arrangements to make-up any missed assignments or tests.
PLAYERS SHOULD BRING FOOD WITH THEM ON THE BUS FOR A MID-AFTERNOON MEAL IF THEY ARE INVOLVED IN THE FIRST GAME FRIDAY NIGHT VS. TWIN BRIDGES.
Players involved in the second game Friday night will have time and opportunity to eat in East Alton at 5:45 PM.
