The Redbirds traveled down to Springfield to take on the Robert Morris Eagles for a MACHA Gold Division battle. The Redbirds controlled the game throughout the contest and emerged with the win to place them back into second place in the Gold Division.
In a game marred by 26 penalties and several misconducts the Eagles tried to fight their way to a win. The two bright spots for the Eagles; the goaltending of Jairon Walk and the complete game of Danny Ferguson were not enough to push the Eagles to their first win. The Redbirds controlled the game throughout the contest and emerged with the win to place them back into second place in the Gold Division. The two teams are back at it Saturday night with a 7:30 PM face-off.
