SIUe scored first, but Matt Lee tied it up at one in the first period as the ISU IceBirds began the season in the Little Muddy Tournament in East Alton, IL. SIUe went on to score the next four goals handing the IceBirds their first loss. Chris Mandarino was in net for the IceBirds. KT Goeing gets the next start Saturday as the Birds play two; Eastern Kentucky and Missouri St.- White
